Pet Pals is here for you every single day!  Our administrative office hours are M-F  8am to 5pm and a leadership member is on call after hours and on the weekends.

Pet Pals works as a team.  We assign a primary pet sitter to each client but have secondary care givers come in as a backup when the primary sitter is unavailable.   Each client always has the option for a personal meet and greet with the individual that will be caring for their pets prior to services.  Additional meet and greets may incur an additional charge.

Most of our clients keep a house key on file at Pet Pals which are coded for your protection.  This makes it easier for clients when they need to leave with short notice.  Other clients prefer to leave a key each time and provide a spot for us to return it on our last visit.  Many clients have keyless entry these days which is great but if you are leaving town, we do ask for a back-up key in the event of a power outage.  We do ask that clients leave us 2 keys before leaving town.  One for the primary pet sitter and one for the office file as back up.

Pet Pals only charges for the time necessary to properly care for your pets.  We will never charge extra for additional pets.  We will let you know if we think your pets require extra time in order to care for them properly.

No worries we offer instant updates!  Pet Pals uses an industry-leading pet sitting software called Time To Pet.  After the initial consult – you will have access to your very own client portal.  Our pet sitters and dog walkers complete their visit reports right after their visit has been completed.  This update will come straight to your email and app (push notifications are optional) instantly.  This will include a visit report on what your pets are up to, what they did during their time with their pet sitter and some pretty cute pics!

Absolutely – weekends and holidays are some of our busiest times.

Sure do! Many of our clients are senior pets and special needs animals.  We have a lot of experience in administering medications including pills, insulin injections as well as giving fluids.

We mainly provide private walks to our clients, however if your dog has a friend that he would walk well with, this is an option we can discuss.

Each overnight includes an evening visit/hangout session followed by sleeping hours and then the morning/b’fast routine.  9 hours of overnight care with 1 mid-day break throughout the day.  (daily break times determined by each client)

We ask that if you need to cancel your dog walk or mid-day break to please let the office know by 8am the day of.  If you are needing to cancel a vacation we do ask for at least 24 hour notice unless it is over a major holiday in which we request 10 DAYS notice.

Pet Pals requires a 50% deposit on overnight services, reservations that exceed 7 days and reservations over a holiday.  We invoice for the balance upon your return. Regular weekly clients are invoiced weekly or bi-weekly.  We except cash, check or online payments which can be done right through the invoice.

We offer walks in rain and snow only if your dog finds it enjoyable.  We do consider your pets safety first so if it is too cold or too hot we will take dogs out for potty breaks and use the remainder of our time for inside play or snuggles.
